Summarizing conflicts of interest in a separate section before the acknowledgements at the end of the article and do not include them on the title page, as a footnote to the title, or otherwise. When there is no conflict of interest, please state: The author(s) declare that they have no conflicts of interest. Conflicts of interest that must be disclosed include, but are not limited to, the hereunder:
- Associations with commercial entities that provided support for the work reported in the submitted manuscript (the timeframe for disclosure in this section of the form is the life span of the work being reported).
- Non-financial affiliations that may or may not be relevant to the submitted manuscript.

Declaration of Interest
Any financial or personal relationships with other people or organizations that could inappropriately influence (bias) their work must be disclosed by all authors. Employment, consultancies, editorship or Editorial Board membership with a publishing journal, stock ownership, honoraria, paid expert testimony, patent applications/registrations, and grants or other funding are all examples of potential competing interests.
Declaration and verification of submission
Submission of an article implies that the work described has not previously been published (except in the form of an abstract, a published lecture, or an academic thesis; see 'Multiple, redundant, or concurrent publication' for more information), that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere, that its publication is approved by all authors and the responsible authorities where the work was carried out, and that, if accepted, it will be published.
