    Dr. Lemlem Beza completed her PhD at Emory University. She then pursued a postdoctoral fellowship in 2022, supported by VECD’s Fogarty Global Health Fellowship Program. Currently, she works as a clinician, researcher, and educator at Addis Ababa University. She serves as Vice Executive Dean for Research and Engagement, and as a faculty member in the Department of Emergency and Critical Care at the College of Health Sciences. As the CPD Director of the Ethiopian Society of Emergency and Critical Care Professionals, she actively advances the field. Her research focuses on non-communicable diseases, particularly cardiovascular emergencies.
